Mohd Ashraf, a final year student studying Petroleum Engineering bagged RM100 for his astounding individual presentation which entitled “How do I overcome Acrophobia” in Show and Tell Competition organized by English Language Club (ELC). Lee Kian Seng and Muhammad Iman Bin Mostaffa were also delighted to share the same joy by winning the group presentation with the topic on taekwondo. Both of them won RM200.
Show and Tell Competition was held on 15th August 2012 at D5. It draws students to present their talents or basic skills like singing, swimming, playing badminton, etc. Students were judged by Miss Gail Sylvia Steele, the advisor of ELC and Madam Roselind Wan. Basically, ELC hoped that this competition can spur UTP students to participate in English based activities like presentation, in conjunction with promoting the ELC to students.
With the success of this competition, ELC hope to organize more English based activities in the following year.
